Your Prognostication For NFL Week 2

"luck is when preparation meets opportunity"

Best Bet: These plays are double/triple your coin output on a regular play.
Regular Play: The coin you drop on a typical play.
Prognosticator Opinions: Half the coin of a regular play, if it lines up with your own "prognostication" then feel free to bump up to a regular play.

Best Bet: Take Green Bay -13.5 vs Buffalo
Green Bay has the horses to dominate a poor Buffalo team even if they do not bring their "A" game. GB plays the DD favorite role very well - accumulating a perfect 3-0 ATS record last year as a DD favorite. Rogers will pick apart a Buffalo defense that has absolutely no pass rush. Offensively, Buffalo will have a hard time getting things going with a very subpar OL. This game will be over before it starts. GB 38, Buffalo 10

Best Bet: Take Atlanta -6.5 vs Arizona
Atlanta is an above average NFL team that plays like an elite NFL team at home. Atlanta is a healthy 11-5 ATS over their last 16 contests at home. Atlanta's offense is a different animal at home, averaging over 26 .1 ppg last year in that role. My numbers point to a greater scoring total - and that does not bode well for a Arizona team that has a suspect QB. Atlanta 31, Arizona 17

Regular Bet: Vikings -5.5 vs Miami
The Vikings are one of three favorites to win the NFC. There is great value in taking a Viking team that has superior talent and is coming off an embarrassing loss. The Vikings will be fired up for this one - expect a rebound for Favre and Co. Henne is a big time talent but if he continues to average 5.4 YPA the Vikings D will eat him up alive. Vikings 27, Miami 13.

Regular Bet: Oakland -4 vs St. Louis
This Oakland team is more talented than previous editions. I dropped huge coin for Oakland and the over for wins (6) on the year, and I circled this as game as their first win. I did not expect Bradford to be starting by now - this is just added gravy. Count on Bradford and Co. to have no less than 3 turnovers on the day. Oakland will be focused - this is the first winnable game for a team that has high expectations for the season. Oakland 24, St Louis 14

Prognosticator Opinions:
Take Dallas -9 over Chicago
Take Colts -5.5 over the Giants

I appreciate the comments. I agree there are a bevy of favorites (in fact 100%) for my picks this week. This is very unusual as my picks usually are closer to 50/50 with dogs and favs. It just happens that of the 4 strong games I identified, they are all favs. Opinions are weaker and do not count to overall record. I've identified the 4 favorites that will bring home the bacon. Good luck!
