2012 NBA 2nd Half Plays

Members Pic N Locs, and Agent318 have made a couple post about 2nd half margin plays.

Example: Last night Boston vs. Orlando (Boston +10 for the game)

At the end of the first half Orlando was up 21 points. 2nd half line is a PK.

So now all Boston has to do is lose by 20 points or less and we have a winner.

Boston ends up coming all the way back and winning by 8 points.

So what were looking for here are big swings in point differential.

Last nights Boston Orlando game had a point differential of 11 points.

I haven't followed it enough to know how big of a differential we need to make a play, but I would say we should track differentials of 4 or more.

So who ever wants to help out go right ahead. I know sometimes its hard since we all have lives and can't sit at the computer to post up the pics. To make it easier to track I think we need to have some rules when posting plays.

Example from last night.

Boston 37
Orlando 58

Game line: Boston +10
2nd half line: PK

Point differential: 11

Pic: Boston (PK)
