Updating a previous post, the Hornets are now expected to trade Chris Paul to the Lakers in a three team deal with the Lakers (Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol) and the Rockets (Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Goran Dragic).

The Hornets are expected to get Lamar Odom, Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Goran Dragic, while the Rockets get Pau Gasol. This is a major coup for the Lakers, who now have an All-Universe backcourt and managed to land CP3 without losing Bynum, the likely centerpiece of an offer for Dwight Howard. It's ironic that this blockbuster, which enriches one of the highest-spending big-market franchises in the league (at the expense of a small-market league-owned franchise), went through on the same day as the new CBA.(rotoworld)

as a diehard lakers fan, i'll only like this trade if we can flip bynum for howard.

Was thinking before that we would only be able to get one, and definitely would have rather had howard over cp3 in a heartbeat.... kobe gasol howard would have been unstoppable.

come on mitch, go get howard now!

couldn't agree with you more. Not a big fan of Bynum at all and always amazed the rest of the league values him so highly. If we can get Howard for Bynum, I'd drive him to NO.

Gasol much more talented than Bynum; screw the upside. Hate to be the spoiled fan, but bring on Dwight!

hopefully howard forces his way to LA, then they have to trade him here. Howard + orl's bad contract for bynum and something.

cp3 kobe bynum vs wade lebron bosh ..... tough one, but i think miami has the edge there,
