One of the best small guards in league history. Too bad......

With his NBA well dry, Allen Iverson considering China - ESPN

I guess he either REALLY loves the game of basketball or REALLY loves the money OR needs the money. Regardless, good luck to him & hope he does well.

what gets lost in his epic downfall is how great he was in his prime. he was a leading scorer and steals leader every year. he played hard every game for some very mediocre Sixer teams and got them to the playoffs.

The year they lost to the Lakers in the finals, that team sucked, it was all Larry Brown and AI.

coudlnt agree more seanie ... playing with matt geiger, tyrone hill (wow this dude was ugly), eric snow, george lynch, and aaron mckee off the bench lmao. how they even got to the finals is way beyond me. and iverson single handedly winning game one and reading the paper the next day with the headline "DAVID SLAYS GOLIATH" gave me the chills ... still have the newspaper clipping to this day.

sixers had some great runs there. beating vince and the raptors in game 7 with AI's amazing 50 game performances and such. damn that was a fun time. love allen iverson
