Question anyone think Heat win it all?

most of what ive seen and read on espn and cappersmall has been people either wishing Lebron to lose or saying that it will take some time for that team to gel. I didnt think Lebron handled this whole descision the best way but thats all off the court stuff and wont matter next year.

Ill admit that I have always been a Lebron fan, but I cant see how the Heat dont win it all next year. The Lakers last 2 championship teams have been very flawed and have arguably "cruised" to the finals out of the west the both years. The league has been watered down and Lebron not having to be depended on to score, as he was in cleveland is DANGEROUS for the rest of the league imo

His best attributes as a basketball players has never been scoring, it just appeared that way on the Cavs because of the responsiblilty he took on there. He most likely will become Magic Johnson type of player with a "pass first" mentality. Monkey off his back scoring wise will let him excell on defense more then usual too. Plus the addition of Mike Miller makes this team UNREAL.

Only an injury to one of these guys is the only way the Heat dont take it next year .

Heat and Clippers to win it all next year is where my money is going.

anyone else agree on the Heat?

I think most people are rooting so hard against the Heat and Lebron now it's hard to look at it objectively.

I don't think it's a lock that they win it all by any stretch of the imagination but it's very possible.

Lebron James took Cleveland to the NBA finals with nothing. Cleveland has been a 50-60 win team for years now.

Having Wade & Bosh can't hurt and one would think that in the playoffs it will be hard to beat those guys 4 out of 7 times.

Sure a lot of things can happen and injury could change everything but why wouldn't anyone admit that Miami has as good as a chance as anyone to win the championship.

I think you will see most people argue about "the decision" and his legacy but don't deny the guy being unarguably the top 3 baseketball players playing right now and some can argue he is one championship away from being called the best in the game now. Kobe is not getting younger, Boston is not getting younger. There are a few teams that will have a shot, Miami is one of them

All I know is games are not won & lost on paper, but on the court. They should win a boat load of games, but I also know there are a ton of egos on that team too. If they start off slow & pressure mounts, will fingers start to be pointed at each other? I guess time will answer these questions & more.

I think the Heat can win it all, but I don't think they will. They have 3 of the best players in the league on the same team, which automatically makes them a contender IMO. I don't think they will win because they won't have a capable supporting cast. Miller and Hasleem are solid players, but I have deep concern about the 5 spot in Miami. Without a capable center, they will have trouble with Boston and Orlando before they think about playing those 2 big boys in LA.

I'm not a Lebron fan, but I won't argue the facts. The Heat automatically became 1 of the top 5 teams in the league the minute Lebron and Bosh joined Wade. Next year's contenders in no particular order IMO......

1. Lakers
2. Celtics
3. Heat
4. Orlando
5. Denver
6. Portland

5 spot is a concern although they did re-sign Joel Anthony today who is an underrated shot blocker and plays great defense. He should be even better with this lineup. Should be an interesting year with them vs. world that will be going on

as things stand right now, Chicago and Utah are both ahead of Portland and Denver... Dallas and OKC are both in the same tier as the Blazers and Jazz... the Bulls roster puts them in the top 4 in the East and top 5 in the league...

LOL, the Heat replacing the Lakers as the most hated team in the league.

wonderful retort!

the Heat are not going to just cakewalk their way to a title, i can tell you that right now, and the odds on them winning it right now are a joke... just like people were sucked into thinking the Cavs could walk over the Celtics this year, people will make the mistake of thinking the Heat can have their way with any of the other 3 contenders in the East... won't be nearly that easy...

the Heat's strength will be on offense... all of the big 3 on Miami are solid defensively, but as a team they need to develop a system, and most of their role players are going to be average defensive players, at best... meanwhile they will be going up against 3 teams in the East that will be about defense first... so Miami is going to have to overcome their disadvantage as a team on defense with their offensive explosiveness... and all i'm saying is, that's a lot of pressure on 3 players to produce game in and game out... they are definitely not going to be unbeatable...

fading Miami in the playoffs in 2011 should be lucrative...

nobody in the east is beating this team

I love how people are propping a Bulls team that has lost in the first round 2 straight years, lost a first round draft pick and heinrich, and only added Boozer
