Artest makes the Lake show that much better... Curious to see how well Kobe and Artest work together though

Laker fans were making fun of Ron Artest a few weeks ago, apparently he has improved his game since then

other than the rockets who finally got out of the 1st round last year

artest can play no doubt, only a matter of him being able to control himself

him and kobe actually both claim to be friends but wonder how much of that is true.

move either makes lakers surefire repeat champs or completely wipes their chances out, time tells i guess

Agree. Dont like LA, but just a smart move here. Artest brings what they need, gritty but talented, a little wild but mostly he tamed that with Houston and Phil and Kobilish will keep him in check.

First of all, who says that Phil is going to be there? School is stillout on that. Secondly, this guy has a real bad temper, and playingon a championship team will not help that. The fans will be on his tail in every away game. This may or may not work.

can't wait to see how phil and kobe react to ron catching the ball on the wing and just holding it for 12 seconds before he does anything with it. perfect fit for the triangle!

and yes despite him not being nearly as good a fit as the media wants you to believe, i'm still a little jealous of the move.

Although I love Ariza he isn't worth much more than the mid level exception. Bringing Artest in gives LA a banger and "tough guy" which they dont have. This only makes the game easier for Kobe, Pau, and Lamar.

Best part of it is that Shaq thought he had Artest coming to Cleveland. Now if LA makes the finals next season it will be great with either Orlando (rematch) Boston (revenge) or Cleveland (LeBron & Shaq?). Wow, this could get good.

Guess I should probably wait till he signs on the dotted line first
