Question because boston has blown leads this year

Is that an angle on the rest of this series?

They almost gave back the series to the magic.....

Thoughts?

i actually think, if LA isn't winning by at least 8-10 points heading into the 4th quarter tonight, they can expect Phil's idiotic comments during the timeout in game 5 to come back and bite them in the ass...

you don't say stupid shit like that to fire up a superior opponent, and even Phil knows by now that is what he's dealing with...

if it's close heading into the 4th, LA backers should be very nervous...

How were those comment idiotic? The celtics almost did blow that game and probably do choke it up if artest comes through at the end

I don't thin the celtics can transform into a finisher of a team based on disrespect.... they are 0-7 in game 6 possible clinchers. Even pierce and rivers agreed with phil

You cannot change the fact that although the Celts won 2 big games in a row, they have not felt the emotional urgency that the Lakers have felt for the last 2 days.

MUST WIN

Celtics must win 1 of next 2, and they know it. And smart coaches (imo), like Jackson or Rivers know when to pick their spots. After two huge efforts I don't expect the Celts to back down at all...but I expect the Lakers to go all out in a fashion we haven't seen since earlier in the playoffs. Think....Gasol.

it was idiotic because, if it is true, you don't want to give them any different mentality... before, they might have been thinking about letting a lead slip in the 4th quarter... now they will be thinking, "eat this, Phil!"...

Doc and Paul, on the other hand, know what you do and don't say... their comments will be made on the basketball court...

the refs are the only reason LA has a decent chance of seeing a game 7... you will see a very one-sided game, from a reffing standpoint...

something to think about... in 11 games in the Finals between this series and 2008, LA has still not managed to have a 2 game winning streak at any time... Boston has had 2 of them...

???

how do you get that i think he said it on accident... i KNOW he didn't say it on accident... that was a planted comment... he knew exactly what he was doing...

and i'm telling you, he's an idiot for doing it, because he is up against a superior team... you do that when you have the superior team... not vice versa...

as for where i am from, i don't share that info... but i am not from Boston, nor am i a Boston homer... i simply know the best team in basketball when i see them, and i've been riding them since game 1 of the playoffs...

last year, i was on the Lakers from game 1 of the playoffs... i have no bias...

where you are wrong, is that Phil did not say that because he is a master of the mind... he did it because he's too cocky and his ego got the better of him at that moment...

it's going to bite him in the ass!

Lol that's funny. 1 the celtics aren't the superior team. And 2 it was impossible to predict that a team that went 25-25 in it's last 50 games was the best team in the playoffs. Good story tho
