NBA 1* (501) ORLANDO MAGIC -1

I’m taking the Orlando Magic to win tonight, these will be the 2nd of a back to back for both teams but as one team comes from winning I expect a better effort to make it a split for the Magic. After getting some sync with the new players the Magic went on to roll for 9 straight wins before falling yesterday in overtime against a tough defense that make them shot 39% from the field. That won’t happen tonight as Oklahoma’s defense is well, there’s no such a thing lately. They have allowed 46% or more in 4/5 games this year, with the same number of teams topping the 100p mark to solidify its place in the bottom10 in fg% allowed, way far from Orlando’s 5th in that category. Not to mention Orlando’s 4th in defensive efficiency.

Hence we have a team that has been rolling and come from a tough loss against a top defense and now will be facing a team that comes from winning… our team will want it more and has the tools to pull it out. They rebound better, shot better and defend better.

NBA 1* (504) MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES -4

The opportunity to fade a 0-18 road team in this price range without it’s only inside threat against another team with a strong home/road dichotomy its worth to take it. While the Wolves will not be even close of playoffs or anything like that they have been competitive at home, winning 40% of their games compared to less than 10% on the road. Washington is coming from a win and in this scenario they are 0-9 SU and ATS and without Blatche’s 16ppg and 8rpg I don’t any different for this game.

Minnesota has drop 5 games in a row and is eager to win against lesser competition… they lost against Boston, Denver, Portland and San Antonio twice and after this game they will receive the Magic before going out of town. This is a must win game for them.
