BLAZE NBA !WINNING! Thursday

I know its a short slate tonight and most will be focused on the NCAA tourney tonight, but before i give my NBA pick i want to say a few things first.

I'd like to re-interate that its SO crucial sometimes getting that 1/2 point in line value. We seen it in a few games last night. That's partly why i wanted to get yesterdays thread up earlier in the morning to get the best line possible. I said in one of the posts that i didn't want to let the Phoenix/Toronto game get under 8-9 which is what it landed on.

Today, i want to get this one out earlier again because i can't see this line going anywhere else, but against me. The Jazz are back at home after getting beat by 10+ last night on the road against the "Durants". Now back at home and hosting a well rested NO Hornets team.

Now im not big on ATS' and all those crazy stats. I've found that the more time i spend looking at those; the more of an argument i can make for either side. It also enables me to talk myself onto the other side OR talk me out of a play completely. I'm a firm believer in GUT plays. Now that doesnt mean i dont peruse ATS' or defensive stats because i do sometimes. I just don't spend more then 5 or 10 minutes hammering out every little thing i can find. To me it can be overkill sometimes.

But we have a team (JAZZ) on back to back (away/home) against a well rested team in the Hornets. The Jazz are banged up with Harris/AK47 both questionable tonight. But more importantly i think this team is hurt MENTALLY. You know Coach Sloan quit on them and then their leader Deron got dealt. The season is falling down the tubes. They don't really have a bench and it just seems like they're about to fold IMO.

Team mentality is huge IMO. I know soon the Jazz will be a good fade because they'll pack it up. I wouldnt be saying this if Sloan was there, but i can't see Tyrone Corbin holding these guys to the same merit.

Is this the game that does them in? I think it could be, but it is in there backyard, so its still a shot in the dark that they sneak one out. I just think with all the injuries, sloan leaving and losing Deron is enough to make them say forget it. IF Watson starts tonight Chris Paul will eat him for lunch. Watson tends to turn the ball-over and CP3 will be there to scoop it up.

Anyways i don't want to bore anyone so tonight's pick is the Hornets!

Hornets -1.5/2.0 (best # you can get)
1 unit

Like i said, if you are playing this i would think its best to go now, because once they rule anyone out on Utah's side OR even if they don't i can't see this staying the same line all day. Im not saying it wont but you never know!

Good Luck!

The only way i play Dallas is if its under 12-13 which i don't think it will be. I know Kevin Love is out so there is NO way im backing the Twolves. I'll instead use my time to try and find a gem in Baseball today.

....and to fix that god awful NCAA record im sporting. lol...

Good luck today guys!
