Sacramento Kings vs Memphis Grizzlies

Thus far the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies have shown upstart potential through 3 games. Although they are a combined 1-5, this should be an exciting game. With tremendous firepower on the offensive end and lackluster defensive efforts from both teams, these two match up extremely well. But tonight, at this point in the season, the return of Allen Iverson will prove to hurt them more then benefit them. Right now the Memphis Grizzlies are "gelling" which is a term used by basketball analysts to describe when a team is running the floor well, not shooting a bad shot but rather getting that "extra pass" in, hitting high percentage shots, and spreading the points around different players. But with the return of Iverson you will see that "gel" fall apart a little. Iverson is a ball hog, he hoists up bad shots and would rather try to beat somebody off a dribble then pass it to an open teammate cutting to the rim. Iverson has lost a step or 2 and he is not as explosive as he once was, tonight his shot will be off being its his first game back, and the leading scorer O.J Mayo will get less touches and less minutes as a direct result of that. Watch as Kevin Martin has another big game in front of an energetic home crowd, as the Grizzlies have nobody to cover his hybrid abilitys, a tall/lanky shooter, who can drill threes, mid range jumpers, and beat you to the hole all with finishing with authority. Give the points, at home and enjoy the easy money!!!

Sacramento Kings -1
