NBA Best Bet Thursday Boston Celtics at LA Lakers (+2) (5PM ET) (ABC)



A very tough scheduling spot for the Lakers as they completed a 4 game in 5 night stretch on Tuesday and must wheel back with 1 days rest for a day game against Boston. Awful scheduling by the NBA, which will ruin this game. It will be interesting to see how much energy Kobe Bryant will have after this horrific scheduling. The Celtics enter this game off a 3 game home stand and will be well rested. Entering their game on Tuesday the Celtics are winners of 18 straight and have won 10 of 11 on the road. The Celtics are tops in the league in defensive field position holding teams to 41.8% shooting. The Lakers will be without Jordan Farmar who may be looking at surgery that will sideline him for a month. Farmar will be missed because he had the young legs to cover Rajon Rondo. Now we are looking at Sasah Vujacic getting more minutes and having to play defense against the speedy guards. The Lakers are soft in the middle and have problems defending speedy guards. Luke Walton has seen significant playing time since December 10th and his 20 minutes on the court make him a defensive liability against Boston. The Celtics commit to defense and play much better defense than the Lakers. The Celtics defense is better and will be the more rested team in this spot. Look for Boston to get up big early in this game. If you bet halftimes take Boston in the first half and Take Boston in the game.

hey sportsjunkie, I have been following your posts, you have great parlays, on monday I bet your parlay but I changed the over of 41 of the MNF and Sacramento,,, instead I bet on Wake Forest on college basketball and it was a parlay winner of 22-1 ,,,, when are you going to post another parlay??,, thanks man
