Brand Done For Year

Not much of a surprise I actually think Jahred posted something when the Sixers signed this guy about he health risk he is. I was hoping for Josh Smith in the offseason but liked Brand but I think this guys career maybe at the end at 29 years old. Sixers were playing better without him but a big cap hit next few years on him. Oh well I guess I will watch when they are being beat out of the first round of the playoffs again

Great signing by the Sixers. They should keep the Spectrum and tear down the Wachovia Center because the Sixers will be nobody's for a while.

sixers still in the playoffs, bucks (no redd) bulls, knicks, nets, none good enough to catch them

I'm glad philly didn't go fully at josh smith. Him in the lineup would most definitely challenge the east. The GM tried to go "safe" with an aging, over weight, badly injured achilles, and an undersized, unathletic power forward.

not really an accomplishment just to make the playoffs and get swept out by the celts or cavs
