Bucks trade Yi

The Milwaukee Bucks trade Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons to New Jersey for Richard Jefferson.

Not sure what I think about it. As a Bucks fan I guess it's ok. Jefferson is decent and we had to get rid of Simmons. I was optimistic Yi would work out in the long run, but he has made it clear on so many occasions that he did not want to be here. Oh.....so sawee Yi. You're lucky you're even over here and not still in communist China (No disrespect to the Chinese, I'm ripping on your government here). But this guy was a baby from the start and never expressed any desire to stay here.

I hope he breaks his leg on Opening night.

Wow, surprising trade. All kinds of moves being discussed. Should be a fun night

I think the Bucs win now but maybe Nets will win later?

I guess their are tons of rumors with Redd too. Don't be surprised if he is moved tonight as well.

On the surface it almost seems like the Bucks are holding a fire sale, but I like the first trade the more I think about it and if Redd goes we will free up a ton of cash. Under Skiles now we may need to do a little re-building, but I don't think we are that far. It is clear that this team did not mesh well and we had the talent. Build this team around Bogut and in a few years we could be a force again. Mabye even immediately under Skiles if we get the right stuff for Redd.

weird...one of the reasons they wanted to draft the west virginia dude was because of yi jianlian to help yi out in terms of cultural and language ties...if they draft him yet i guess it wasn't that big of a factor afterall

chinese arent that bad of drivers..they wouldnt even make my top 5 for worst asian drivers...now in the small towns in china they can be seen to be bad, but that is only because there arent any lane divisions or any real traffic rules..thai drivers would be the worst imo..sitting in a taxi and taxi driver does 140km through downtown can be downright scary
