Bulls v. Heat – game 5

At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Miami Heat (2.42, +142) and Chicago Bulls (1.67, -149)

Bulls are 36-17 ATS on one day's rest
Heat are 1-7 ATS in their last eight playoff games as an underdog

Miami leads Chicago 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals and a win Thursday would give the team an opportunity to play for a championship. "We understand it's going to be a tough game," Heat guard Dwyane Wade stated. "But we have the team and we have the guys that are capable of showing up and putting on a performance that we need to win the game." The Heat took care of business at home in winning both games at AmericanAirlines Arena, pushing their record to 8-0 in the playoffs inside the venue. The team has posted a 3-3 record on the road during postseason play. Miami is 19-18 ATS after three or more consecutive wins this season.

The Heat trailed by double-digits in the opening period Tuesday night, but managed an 8-0 run to close the quarter behind three. Miami held Chicago to 33.3 percent shooting in the fourth quarter and ultimately came away with a 101-93 win. Star forward LeBron James finished with a game-high 35 points and has been clutch down the stretch in the playoffs. James has also been a force on the defensive end, especially in the fourth quarter guarding Bulls star Derrick Rose. "Rose doesn't have to change," said Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau. "He can go catch-and-shoot, he can go isolation, he can go pick-and-roll. But they also have an excellent defense. It's not just LeBron."
