Question Can the top 4 seeds all lose in the first round of the Western conference playoffs?

I bet at least two of them go home early!

With 1-8 separated by 8 games, and the mjority within2 games of one another it could definitely happen! The least likely in my opinion is Houston though, assuming they are the 5 seed as I do not think they can beat Utah! Denver has a shot versus the Lakers, and probably worth a bet as the odds could be pretty juicy on Denver!! I am a Laker fan, and I am not sure that they are that strong of a #1 seed. They probably do win the series because Kobe will not allow them to lose, but probably some serious value in Denver!!

The other 2 series are complete tossups and I may take the dog in both depending on the odds!!

there is zero value in denver. the lakers are the best offensive team in the league and the nuggets are the worst defensive team...the numbers say it may be a sweep

huh?

warriors best offensive team in NBA at 111 ppg, Suns best fg % team in NBA.

nuggets actually ahead of lakers in ppg this year.

lakers also giving up over 101 ppg this year, defense is non-existant lately. might be a more interesting series than you'd think, but Lakers should handle it in 5, 6 tops.

I have been a Laker fan for over 25 years, so I am not a hater when I say this, but this Laker team is way overhyped!!! Kobe is definitely the best player in the NBA and should be MVP, and Gasol has added alot, but not enough to make them the favorite to make the finals. Lakers play no defense!! Nuggets play even less defense, but they have the talent to take out this overhyped Laker team. Odom is overrated and only shows up at times, they have no Bynum, Gasol is solid but not the difference maker, and the rest of the players are average, many of them still young and will get better like Farmar and Sasha, but not yet. Don't get me wrong, they are a good team, but not the best in the west. The west is so balanced and anyone of these teams can come out!! They probably will beat Denver, but these teams are closer in talent that the odds of the series will probably be, and getting teh Nuggets at 10-1, 12-1 or 15-1, or whatever it is going to be is value!!

What makes this Laker team so great??? Adding Gasol to a team that was average the past few years no makes them the ?? I dont think so!! Gasol and the greatly improved Bynum makes them much better, but Bynum has not played in months and who knows when he'll be back, and who knows how they would all play together if he did come back. I am not buying this Kool Aid!! I am a fan, but also a realist!!
