Christmas Day Referee Assignments
Return of the classic thread!
Each game listed with any information on referees that have shown bias one way or another. I usually just leave neutral or conflicting info out. Boston at New York: (NY -5 and 192) The Knicks have generally struggled with this crew, going 1-8 SU & 2-7 ATS with Joe Crawford, 1-4 SU & ATS with Marat Kogut, and 1-8 & 3-6 ATS with Zach Zarba. Single-digit road dogs were 27-18 ATS with Crawford last season. Marat Kogut was even stronger for the road dogs, as they went an impressive 32-10 ATS with him. Zarba was pretty neutral with home/road stats last season. Miami at Dallas: (Mia -4 and 188) Scott Foster was a great underdog ref for several years, but home dogs went just 7-12 ATS with him last season. Home dogs were also 7-12 ATS with ref Rodney Mott. Mott was a very strong Under ref last season, going 8-21 over/under with posted totals lower than 195 points. Fairly neutral team-specific trends for this crew. Foster reffed two finals games last season, with Miami winning and covering in Dallas, and Dallas winning and covering in Miami. Chicago at L.A. Lakers: (Chi -4.5 and 185.5) Underdogs of fewer than 5 points went 19-6 ATS with Bennie Adams last season, but he is mostly neutral with these specific teams in dog roles. However, dogs of fewer than 5 points were 12-18 ATS with ref Greg Willard last year. Willard is a decent Over ref, with a 40-33 over/under record overall, including 18-9 o/u in games with totals set lower than 195 points. Coming back with the two late games....

Orlando at Oklahoma City: (OKC -8.5 and 197) Neutral numbers generally with refs Bill Kennedy and Derrick Collins, along with some conflicting trends.
L.A. Clippers at Golden State: (LAC -5.5 and 208) LAC and GS are roughly even in recent history with refs Ayotte and Leon Wood, but not with Garretson. LAC is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 with Ron Garretson, including 5-0 ATS in their last 5 with him. GS is just 1-7 SU & ATS in their last 8 with Garretson. Road faves were 20-10 ATS with Garretson last season. Leon Wood had a slight lean to road faves last season, and road teams went 43-30 ATS overall with him. Mark Ayotte was strong for road teams two years ago, but had a slight lean to the home team last season.
