Dan Crawford vs mavs

The mavs are 1-15 when Dan crawford is the official and are 56-32 when he doesn't. Guess who is the ref for tonights game. U guessed it Crawford. The league is trying to **** the mavs again.

Funny that it started as a theory and now it's pretty much proven

The NBA commissioner send a referee crew to a specific game to strongly influence the outcome without anyone being able to point to the fix. Has been going on forever, and the stats like these are proven in the past.

If Dick Bavetta was ref for a Pistons game, they were toast, almost always. Go figure.

Granted the Hornets series was pretty much over but Crawford has officiated what i call swing games or elimination games, taking the series mo one way or another and he usually seems to be right there in the action when the Mavs play one of these games. That game 3 against Miami was probably one of the worst I have seen. But here are some box scores from recent playoffs and you can scroll down and see who was the ref.

Oh, okay. Wasn't sure where you got the numbers, but knew there had to be some qualifier. Thanks for the info!

I heard these numbers on Dallas radio. That is where I got them. I didn't go back and look but I trust them.

Simply put:

#1: They could have a random drawing for which refs go to which games, but they don't. They could rotate them in a known fashion, but they don't.

#2: Likewise, have you ever noticed that the NBA draft lottery is done now (was previously public) behind closed doors? What could possibly be the reason to not televise it live? Is it more exciting to see David Stern? When a state draws the lottery, do they do it publicly?

The NBA has found many levers of control to do as they please. They have every option available to publicize these things but choose not to. While it's fair to say it's possible they do it for some specific reasons, logic tells you otherwise. It's simply uncomfortable for many to think that way though so they suspect this but won't cross the line
