The Worm might be the most underrated NBA player in the history of the league.

I was thinking over-rated. The guy could not hit the rim on a free throw.to be a hall of famer you should be able to shoot just a little.....

Shaq can't shoot free throws either. Rodman shot 52% FG on his career, and was a BEAST on the glass. Plus all of the intangables the Worm brought to his team were undeniable. In my opinion, the Bulls don't win their recent 3-peat without him.

yeah hes a well deserving Hall of famer...how is he underrated though?

he always got his due, through contracts, big money, all star appearances, and now the HOF

pretty much everyone knows that despite not scoring much, he was a very valuable player for what he did on the boards, defensively, and not to mention the psychological game he had getting into opponents heads many times

Under appreciated then? Most talked about his antics on and off but only talked about his value come playoffs. PJ was routinely asked on how he controls him ( and pretty much said the same thing everytime). A fair amount thought he was a joke and I would assume, never took him serious on the court.
