First NBA System Play of the season - a big one

OK - it's Thanksgiving week, which is when we have enough data to start my system. I've explained this many times in the past..... this is my best system with a 20-year track record (JESUS I'm OLD). One losing season over that time frame....

Tonight's play:

Chicago +3 over Phoenix

Chicago is KILLING the boards this season, and is the top-ranked rebounding team in the NBA with an almost +6 differential. Phoenix has almost the exact reverse statistics - and ranks last in the NBA with a -7 differential. The one thing predictable about this game is that we kind of know what the rebounding stats will look like, and usually in this case when it's best vs worst it's even more extreme.

The only worry is that Chicago did play in LA last night. Last night's game is a good example though of how rebounding plays such a factor. They shot 39% last night but outrebounded the Lakers 46-38. As a result they covered the spread.

Chicago has also been playing great defense of late and Phoenix has been abysmal.

No - last year was actually about average - 28-19 I think (I have my actual records at home but traveling for Thanksgiving)

woulda been easier if Taj Gibson played, not sure if Action capped it as Gibson playing or not because he usually is cautious when a leading rebounder is out.

Yeah - honestly I thought he might play but felt good about it even with him possibly missing. They definitely wore them down once they withstood the shooting barrage in the 1st. Certainly a stressful evening! The whole game should have been as easy as that 2nd OT was! Hopefully more to come soon......
