Fixed games ?? Do we only say that when we lose a close one ?

truthfully, how can you say these games are fixed based on some games very close to the number ?

If it is fixed; who is it fixed for ??

Seems like there were winners on those close games last night too .

Come on guys we call foul when it goes against us.

Do you realize that there are hundreds of shots, passes, rebounds, fouls, etc during the game and that any one of them going the opposite way would and could result in the winner or loser pointspread wise ?

Who missed the 'wide open' shot last night to determine the outcome ?
Who fouled at the end of a game that was out of hand that determined the spread outcome ? Who watches the vegas line movements and plans it during the game to make the final so close to the number or on one side of the number ?

Ridiculous in my humbled opinion

This is post of the year material. Someone will call me naive & I do believe in the occasional fix but crying fix every game is over the top. Basketball is a game of momentum & swings but doesn't mean everything is scripted.

I don't think there is a chance a game could be fixed for a total or side, The numbers the bookies put out are close to the total of a game in most cases because they run every simulation possible to comeup with these numbers, so basically they are capping against us while we are capping against them, the key is to out-cap the professional cappers and unless you work your butt off researching and take away the advantage the bookies have over our ability to script our own ways of determining outcomes you will only win on luck... If you want to play a "Winner" you better know every espect of that matchup before you put your money on the line or you'll be a loser and keep losing ..... I was a losing player for many years untill i learned that wagering on a game is like a "Pie" if you don't get the bigger piece then you lose!

Agree....also: my friend and I caught Dwade of the miami heat give a wink to a guy in the crowd before airballing a freethrow at the end of the game line was heat by -3.5, heat win by 3.

I think the real issue with the NBA is the inconsistancey of the officials...anyone who watched last years playoffs can attest. As an official, two keys to officiating are 1. location (being in position to see the play) 2. Vision (did you see the whole play (foul) from start to finish?

With that said, you cannot have officials making calls at the scorers table for a play happening under the basket when the covering official didn't call it.

unless you can spot which games are "fixes" and which way beforehand, or at least more often than not

its irrelevant, whatever you believe

its not an angle to help you win, its simply part of the game (whatever it is)

So you are saying Wade had the balls to not only fix the game but also to wink to a friend in the crowd that he was presumably fixing the game for?

Which game was this? Just curious

some of us will just agree to disagree- but to think games are fixed and people are getting by with it is just ridiculous in my opinion

Boxing, dog races, and horse races have bigger fixes than poker or any other event for that matter.......
