George Karl could miss rest of regular season

The Denver Nuggets coach is battling throat and neck cancer. Word is his fight has taken a turn for the worse this week with blood clots in his lungs and leg.
He's a fighter having already overcome cancer already a few years ago.

In related news The Nuggets are hoping to have Kenyon Martin back in mid-April in time for the playoffs. Martin has been sidelined by patella tendinitis in his left knee and underwent a dose of platelet-rich plasma therapy in recent times.

Read a great article on ESPN concerning Karl's Cancer Treatment. I don't know if I could go through that. Thoughts and Prayers for him and all Cancer patients and their families.

As for the Nugs, tough road trip. 0-2 with I believe 3 more to go. They will certainly need Kenyan Martin, Melo is scoring 30 a night but need the rest of the team to step it up. I would love to see a rematch with the Lakers in the Western Conference Champ Game but without Martin and the emotional stress of Karl it maybe to hard of a road
