germany+35

seems too many points here, I dont think the US will be fired up for this game like they were vs Spain or Greece, they have nothing to gain here ,probably will be looking ahead to the quarterfinal, Germany has enough to keep it under 35 rather easly i think, any opinions???

I'm also looking at that game... Ive been betting against the US men and women for almost the entire tournament... a lot of the lines are really inflated like this one.

I think it all depends on Kaman... Nowitzki cant score enough by himself to cover the spread but if Kaman can turn his tournament around and have a good game against guys he's used to playing, Germany can easily cover the spread. Germany is out of the tournament if they lose this game so they will leave it all out on the court while USA will just be going through their routines, don't wanna jynx it but I could see a huge upset... I'll be taking Germany to cover and might even put a few $ down on the moneyline

hard for me to see coach K letting these guys not take every possesion seriously.

i think kaman and dirk sit out most of the second half.

35 is bait imo

scrap what I said lol I just realized Germany has no chance of advancing even if they win because Greece/China hold tiebreakers over them. So the game means nothing for both.

Still thinking about the +35 but it'll be close

even if they take every possesion seriously it wont be easy for them to cover 35, not saying its impossible but i dont think they'll try to embarrass Germany in a meaningless game. I think Germany +35 is the right play here, $ line is just throwing $ away, this US team is unbeatable.

The US team is far from unbeatable... a good shooting night from a team like Spain/Argentina can send the US packing... 4 good wins doesn't erase the dissapointments this team has been through the past 4 years, and I wouldve thought a loss in the qualifying round wouldve been best for this team just so they don't take the competition lightly in the elimination games.

no way, this isnt the same team that went to the last olympics or wc, back then they didnt send the same talent and coaching staff like they did to China. No team in the world is even close to this team, well maybe the C's could give them a good game.

US could play this game left-handed and win by 35. They'll get a big lead, screw around and still cover the 35..
