Hedge my parley? Help!

Okay. So I played a five team
parley where four games already won and I have the lakers ML left to close the deal. The pay out is 905 (I laid down a buck). How should I hedge my bet tomm? I have Boston at -165 ML. Or should I even lay anything the other way?figure if I lay 300 on the celtics ML, lakers win I win 905-3*165=410 or if celtics win 300-100= 200. Is that the way to go?

Help!!
Thanks.

If it was me, I would lay 165 on the celtics.
That way, the worst you could do is break even if Boston wins.
I only do this if per say i had the celtics to win, i would take Lakers +3.5 for $110. That way, the worst i can do is break even and i also have a chance to win both. just my opinion, good luck on your parlay!!!!!

Like I said before, it was just my opinion.
I would rather win my parlay then bet against it.
It kind of ruins the fun of taking said parlay.
Anyways I guess the math would be:
Betting $627
Lakers win: $278 profit
Celtics win: $280 profit
That would make you a sure winner of at least $278 in profit.
Your decision comes from how much faith you have in the Lakers.
If you are worried..... bet $627.
If you are not worried, bet a lot less.

standard rule for betting:

always hedge, or never hedge. can't do different things on different bets. you will kick urself all the time

Take Boston -1. Buy the 2 points so it should be like -150. Lay 300 to win 200.

Boston wins you win $100.

Lakers win you win $900!

Simple as that.

id do it similar but different id buy these 2 points but bet 900 to win 600 on Celts, only because its a must win for Boston and the probability of hitting a 5 team parley is not that great. GL

Well. My five teamer depends on one game tonght so it's not that hard to hit. Lakers in a good position here to take three and bring it back to la here so.... I am just gonna leave it. Thought about hedging so hat I come out no matter what but I am feeling the lakers tonight. I wantboston to win but think the front line of la will dominate tonight
