how much has russell westbrook cost you in the last week?

ill be the first to admit he brings electricity... but that same electricity shows a lack of sense and causes the most costly turnovers late in games.

poor performance down the stretch in game 3 contributed alot to that loss...

and tonight the under was destroyed after he drove the ball into a double team and then failed to stay with conley and help on d while he stayed to support on marc gasol. why help on gasol when he probably hasnt had a 3pt attempt in months?

this game could have been ended way earlier but the last possessions of each period either had russell shooting off balance after holding the ball too long or him holding the ball too long and giving it to durant with little to no time left.

like i said... he's electric but hes still far from a championship point guard imo.

agreed.
he thinks he's Derrick Rose, but Derrick Rose doesn't have a Kevin Durant to help him out. He needs to learn how to play with Durant properly and be a general in late game situations.

I really dislike the way their offense is ran, especially since most of it are ISO's for him and Durant

just wanna repost this before this game gets uglier for westbrook. durant is 7-11 he is 1-10. why does he insist that the offense runs through himself?

and ill say it again...

3 for 15 including alot of missed layups mainly because i dont think he's given into the team concept of basketball yet. he did for game 7 against memphis and they dominated. today he found his need to get to 20 and it killed them.

also... mark jackson hit the nail on the head at the end. why would he leave terry? 2 players on the floor who have killed all playoffs are dirk and terry. so he decides that he should help off terry who is lickin his paws to get a corner 3 to seal the game.

the guy is athletic as hell and exciting to watch when he is just absolutely dominating other point guards with his physicality. but he wont be a top point guard until he gets a brain.

I just have to bump this again. He is not a winner. The act is getting old. He is one talented loser. Congrats on scoring 20 points loser.

Bad coaching more than Westbrook tonight.....the last few OKC offensive possessions were awful. The last play of regulation was just plain bad. Brooks has to draw up better plays to get Durant the ball in a better spot. A jumper from 30 isn't exactly a winning shot....

I still think Westbrook is to blame for all of their late game problems. the way he "runs" the team is a joke. Looks a lot like a pickup game. He dribbles while others move.

I hear you, but Brooks shares some of this blame. Just look at the play he called with 40 secs left in OT. It was yet another awful play call from Brooks. Blowing a 15pt lead with 4 minutes left in a playoff game is a meltdown of epic proportion.....

yea the possessions were sickening. honestly i would not be surprised if westbrook is holding the ball despite a call to get it to durant. i think this explains the whole game two "argument" between brooks and westbrook that came with the benching. as if it needed explaining. the whole world knows when and why westbrook should be benched. if only the thunder could fully trust maynor. youre speaking truth about brooks though. there has to be a play designed to get durant the ball at the top of the circle. dirk gets it there every time.
