Thumbs up I absolutely love the Miami Heat tonight

Miami is currently 35-34 and the 7th seed in the East. They are .5 game behind Charlotte and one game over 8th seed Toronto.

Miami is a much better team at home (20-16) and Charlotte really struggles on the road (10-25). This is a huge revenge game for the Heat. Charlotte has won the first three of this series. Early in January, Charlotte beat Miami in Miami and then embarrassed the Heat 104-65 at home before coming back and beating them again at home 83-78.

Miami has lost two in a row and both at home to Spurs and Magic but before that at home they have won by 13, 13, 11 and they have had won 22 times this year by double digits. Point is when they are motivated, embarrassed and playing with energy - they are tough to beat.

Gerald Wallace has been a Heat killer and he is either likely to miss the game or for sure, less than 100% with a sprained ankle.

After this game Miami will play 6 of the next 7 on the road and this is a crucial game for the their playoff run. With the Raptors chasing the Heat and playing the Nets today - Miami has no room for error

D Wade always takes his game to another level when he's trying to impress and with Michael Jordan, his idol, expected to be in attendance with his new Bobcat team - expect Wade to have a monster game.

I believe the NBA is all about picking your spots and I really like the Heat to come out and absolutely spank the Bobcats.

5* Miami -5.5
@ 5dimes

Good luck everyone!

BOL on the heat...bobcats might have left it all on the court in atlanta last night...last second bucket by the hawks in overtime to seal it...just might be a tough loss to bounce back from

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I am thinking about a Raptors/Heat parlay on the moneyline, pretty good value if you ask me.

Miami up to -6.5 now.

From the ref thread....

Charlotte at Miami: Home faves of between 5 and 10 points are 11-5 ATS with ref Eric Dalen and a ridiculous 9-1 ATS with ref Marc Davis. Third ref Bennett Salvatore is down the middle with a 7-7 mark.

If we don't ask you, is it not a good value?

I don't really like this play. Charlotte is playing extremely well as a team. But there is one big reason why I don't like this.

The last miami vs. orlando game was really a fixed game. The refs did all they could to give miami the chance to win the game. (and they did, d-wade had a chance to win on a jumper with 3 seconds left.) The refs did they best they could to put miami in a position to cover and win this game, but the honest to truth is, miami is not really a good team together as a whole or individually.

Even with all the help, miami didn't have enough skills or talent to take advantage.

Tonight's matchup is not a marquee game. If all goes according to plan, I think charlotte wins this outright.

This is just my opinion though!
