If this rumor is true then wow

An NBA executive told The Boston Globe Wednesday that the Minnesota Timberwolves are working on a deal that would send Al Jefferson and the No. 6 pick in next week's NBA Draft to the Phoenix Suns for Amare Stoudemire.

According to John Gambadoro of KTAR.com, there have been no discussions between the teams about this trade and the Suns will hold onto Stoudemire until they find a deal they like

reported from ESPN

what a steal for the suns if jefferson is healthy

Maybe someone who follows the NBA closer than me, which would be 99% of you could explain to me what benefit Minnesota would get out of this besides shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic

Stoudemire is 5-6 years older, Both coming off injuries

Don't get it, but maybe someone can explain ths

Nothing in local paper about it

most likely espn hype machine, but the twolves get nothing unless they know jeffersons injury is so bad it changes him as player

This trade makes no sense from the T-Wolves standpoint. Jefferson is one of the better big men in the league AND IS STILL YOUNG. When healthy last year, he averaged more points and rebounds than Amare and is less of a diva.
