I'll be the first one to say...

Congratulations to the 2011 Dallas Mavericks. Great season, you guys deserved it. You were the better team.. As much as I wanted the big three to win the title, Dirk deserved it. Terry deserved it. Kidd deserved it. Barea deserved it. Chandler deserved it (even though I think you're a straight fag since leaving my Hornets). Congratulations to the whole Dallas community (minus mark cuban). A great year of basketball, hopefully there's a season next year..

To the Big 3: You guys still have the next 5 years to play together and grow as a team. To be honest I didn't expect you to get to the finals this year, thought it would take at least a couple years. But congratulations for how far you've made it in only one year. (Still think you should fire spoelstra, the dude don't know how to coach and which rotations to use in the game).

Great Way to end the 2011 season. It's been a good year yo, best of luck to everyone in the NBA forum on cappersmall and I'll see you all next year!

listen man, no idea how old you are, how much basketball you watch, or how seriously you follow it. but the bottom line is, lebron james wanted NOTHING to do with that game from the 2nd quarter on. he's as talented an athlete as there has ever been in any of the 3 major sports, but mentally that guy is as weak as they come.

kobe bryant might have shot 2 for 47 in game 7 against boston last year in the finals, but he kept shooting. he was willing to take the fall win or lose. lebron didnt want the ball anywhere near him in the 2nd half.

basketball is easily the most individual team sport there is, and thats why great players are defined by titles. there isn't anyone who can shit on a guy for losing, but you can shit on a guy who clearly has wanted nothing to do with winning in the 2nd half of the last 3 games.

jordan > kobe > lebron and that will stay the same until lebron retires. miami should have won with the way they were clicking after the boston series. all in all though, congrats to the mavs, glad to see dirk and kidd get one, and glad the hype didnt detour dallas. they played their asses off and lebron didnt. end of story.
