Best thing that could ever happen to that team. They don't have to wonder anymore about the soap opera surrounding his playing time and whether he should start or come off the bench. Now they can focus on the lineup they have and see what happens.

Totally agree with the move Joe D. made to clear cap space, but it is unbelievable what a cancer that guy is. As a Piston fan, I am so happy we have seen him play his last minute in Detroit.

Hate to see a guy go down, but the Pistons are better off.

This is still one of the worst trades of the year.....Pistons got the cap room, but the Nuggets got a star who lead them to the #2 seed in the west.....Still not sure who the Pistons think they'll land with the cap room.

I just think they realized that they were not going to win the title with the team they had. Eastern Conference Finals are great, but they wouldn't have beat Boston or Cleveland this year. Getting AI was a risk they were willing to take. He either would make the team better and they could contend for a title, or they rent him and at the end of the year they have room to sign a big name free agent, or maybe 2.

took a team of nobodies to the NBA finals in Philly and honestly plays hard night in and night out the majority of his career

Iverson is/was a beast! Just not sure he would have ever made a good Piston.

This is good news for the Pistons... Iverson send Hamilton to the bench... great scorer, but the defense has never been there
