This idiot is just unbelievably bad. He plays with total desparation in the fourth quarter of every game. LAunches up stupid 3 point shots without reason and contrary to any set offense. Pass the ball in bounds to Smith you are guaranteed to see this numbnut launch a 3 pointer without reason.

What a dumbass.

I 100% agree. I went to all the Hornets games when they played in OKC and JR was on the team. When they came out from halftime and were shooting around, he would just dick around and launch half court shots and try to do cool dunks..... he will never grow up and play to his potential

As much as I agree with you, they put up with his shit because there may not be a player in the league that gets as hot as he does. After he hits a couple shots he can flat out shoot the ball and score at will. However I agree I dont think he is worth that 1 out of 10 games when he gets red hot because there is no team game when he is on the floor.

Nothing feeds an over more than launching up quick 3s

They either go in, lead to easy offensive putbacks or start the break going the other way.

JR is ok in my book had 600 earler this season on an over, bet was looking dodgy late in the game, until JR made BTB 3's.

I like JR's game, but he does represent what the league has become. 3-on-1 fast break means pull up for a 3, forgot about getting the ball to the free throw line extended and kicking to the wing for a layup. Defense, what the hell is that. JR is exciting and can shoot you into a game, but he can also shoot you out of one.
