I disagree. I think he WAS key word WAS a great point guard, now i dont think he should be a legit stater for a team unless its the nets, just my opinion

On the season, he is almost averaging a double double per game, with 10pts, 9 assists and 6 rebounds..

.... and you're saying he should be ONLY starting for the nets...... wow.

One of the greatest point guards of all time, sadly some people don't understand the main role of the man at the point.

He has been the "triple-double" leader in his time by far. By comparison, Oscar Robertson, averaged a triple double for a whole season in 1962-63. Very few point guards today can match his numbers now.

Yeah, he's been really impressive. He's become a much better 3-point shooter which has really made the Mavs tougher to defend in big situations.

You can look at his stats.But the thing I have noticed is for as late in the season it is ,he looks better than the last couple of seasons.To be his age and have the season he is having,as well as the energy level this late is amazing to me.The beginning of the season you would expect it,but I think he is on a mission this year.This is the Mavericks best chance to win the west ,and might be his last playing at this level of play to add to his motivation.Should be interesting to watch.
