Jordan

I know many would say this is obvious, but dude! Just watched a replay of the 1996 NBA Finals game 6 that wrapped up the 6th title for MJ and the Bulls and am even more convinced.........

You can have Kobe and Lebron. Give me MJ!

glad you took the time to watch one of the old games, it gets very easy for the new generation to dismiss the old guys and believe today they are so much better

MJ's greatness is in part his stats but in reality there is a drive he has that has never ever been matched on the court, a will to win that even the likes of magic johnson and Larry Bird freely admitted they could not match.

LBJ's frustration at the end of that series was the same type of frustration MJ experienced early on....a realization that no matter how good they are they need a team around them capable of stepping up....LBJ is the only hope that there will be someone from this generation able to possibly match MJ

Neither Kobe nor Lebron will ever touch MJ. That being said Lebron doesn't deserve to hold Kobe's jock strap. They are not even in the same league.

none of the texas teams would have titles if jordan hadn't retired at all.
