hear what you're saying Jack, but I think he gets credit...

I'm not an NBA guy, but guys on Dallas radio have talked about him a few times... that's saying something... and I know of his streak... lol

Yeah I guess he does get credit but he wasn't an all-star (before injury) and I think if you asked the average person to name the top big men in the NBA, I doubt his name would be mentioned often & it should be.

He is putting up numbers as the only player on a bad team....he also gets more love than the best player on the pacers, bobcats, or pistons (other terrible teams).....who gets left off the all star team for him? Duncan? Dirk? Pau?

Personally, I do think Love is still underrated for the numbers he is putting up..but he was an all star.

IMO the most underated player in the game is Zack Randolph. I really dont like his game but you cant argue with the guys numbers...20 pts 13 rbs this year, ave 20 and 10 the last 3 years and he will still NEVER make an all star team. To me that is underrated..

Love doesn't get as much credit as he should, but when you play for a bad team, you don't get much pub. He was on the all-star team. Stern added him in place of Yao, who was injured. It was still a snub because he didn't get selected by the coaches. I like the game he has developed. Nothing better than a "lunch pail" guy who can put up 20/10 on a consistent basis....

Will say when I watch the T Wolves here locally, I have focused on him and how he plays

He defintiely does not have the physical skills of alot of people he goes up against, but he has a unique knack of postioning, knowing where the ball will end up, and more tenacity to get a rebouund.

He is defintiely old school, he plays hard and well every night. He doesn't take a night off as the streak has proven. That's more than alot of the other elite players can say

And Jack he likes playing here. They will sign him long term and I think his future is here

not sure about underrated... but his stats are deceiving. Kinda like Bosh putting up numbers on the Raptors bad squads for years but definitely not like the numbers Love's putting up. However, on a Toronto podcast/radio show they previously mentioned that his numbers are a bit misleading.

In a few blowout games where he didn't get his numbers yet, he would get inserted into the game in the 4th qtr when he would get his pts/rebs, he would then exit the game.

He definitely has the stats, but impact on the game is a different story

He is by far the most underrated player in the league, his numbers are ridiculous. 22ppg, almost 16rpg, shoots over 85% from the line, almost 40% from 3pt range, 47% from the field & is an EXCELLENT passer. AND only plays about 38min!!! Absolute sick numbers!!!

I do think he is underrated. Guys numbers are phenomenal, and people will say its because he is on a shitty team but at the same time other teams are prob focusing more on him because there really is no one else on that team. Give me a guy shooting 85% from the line 47% from the field and over 40% from 3 any day. Throw if he averages nearly 16 rebounds and has over 40 straight double doubles and somehow was still not an all star? How can you not say he is underrated. IMO top 5 most underrated players in the nba are as follows in no order:

Zach Randolph
Kevin Love
Lamarcus Aldrige
Danny Granger
Paul Millsap

I still dont think hes underrated. He has been doing this for 4 months, which is great, but top players do it year in and year out, and that's when you get "rated". With the exception of phenoms like Blake Griff, most rookies in the NBA today dont come in with much hype because they have a short or no college career. Love is one of them yet he still made the all star team.

that is Rambis rotation. nothing to do with them giving him minutes in garbage time to put up stats. He can't play D which will always be an issue for him but he can shoot from anywhere on the floor. To think he doesn't have an impact on the game is absurd.

Change him and Bosh right now and Miami is better team hands down as Love can do so much more offensively.
