Kirk Penney to trial with the Spurs
Guy is a class act, both off and on the court. Going to be very tough for him to get in, but wish him all the best. Would be great to have two NZers in the NBA.

Spurs let him go. He's now looking at his options with 5 other NBA teams. If nothing comes of it he will likely be back downunder playing in the Aussie league.
Personally would rather see him get picked up by an NBA team.
