Is Kobe out?! Why is the line only 3.5; 5* play

I live in Atlanta and have been to the last 2 Hawks home games where they have played the Spurs (without Duncan) and Boston (without KG) both teams beat them bad, they look way over matched against top teams in the league. The only logical reason I can see that this line is not 7 or higher is because Kobe isn't playing. Is that true? If Kobe is playing the Lakers should win by 20 points.

I don't think it has been annouced yet if Kobe is playing. My guess is he will sit as this is game 5 on the road trip and they have the #1 seed wrapped up.

This is true, but they don't have the best overall record for home court.
