Are the Lakers soft?

seriously no one ever says this, but i think they are straight up softies.....If the didnt have Kobe, the would be a poor mans Dallas Mavericks getting pounded by everyone(but really who wouldnt drop dramatically without Kobe).

Gasol = Soft.......If Dirk is labeled as soft this guy is a marshmallow
Odom= Soft......Always hurt and always nowhere to be found
Bynum= Soft.....He's been where lately? Looked good at the end of the season when he returned and Lakers already had everything wrapped up, but where is he now.....
Farmar= Soft......Even if he does get to play, he never contributes. Shouldnt he be a lot further along leading this team by now?
Sasha= Soft.......A guy named Sasha and you can pronounce his last name so you haveto call him that.
Walton, Luke= Soft.....Had to put Luke in there because Bill was never soft. Luke is so TO prone to me when he enters the game. HE does too much blow

Kobe and Ariza seem to be the only gamers to me...Fisher used to be one but hes so old hes hit or miss.

Agree or Disagree?

Im liking Cavs as NBA Champs more and more.......

some of their team is soft...odom isn't really soft, he just is a disappearing act sometimes. gasol is a soft big guy but he has stayed healthy for his time in LA, he's not going to bang down low tho. bynum will be good, he needs to adjust to playoff basketball tho. farmar and shannon brown both not soft...sasha is very soft

The Lakers will not get past Denver at this rate. It looks as if they show up when they feel like it. They got away with that against Utah, and may get away with it against Houston, but Denver is red hot. The Lkasers play as if the regular season and the Western Division playoffs are just tune-ups for the Championship series. At this rate, they will not make it that far.

They also swept the regular season series with the Rockets. Cavs and especially LeBron look like they're on a mission with the way they're absolutely dismantling teams. The Lakers looked like they didn't even want to be there yesterday.

Denver doesn't have the offense to keep up with the lakers as seen last year. teams that play no defense against them have zero shot

denver last year and denver this year are apples and oranges

denver is capable of beating anyone in a 7 game series because they are so confident and just having fun.

as for the lakers, their main concern has to be odom and gasol disappearing from time to time throughout the playoffs. gasol and odom were absolutely nowhere to be found in the finals last year and it cost the lakers dearly.

and yeah, i definitely think gasol is soft as hell

bynum is kind of an in between type for me. i don't know that he's so much soft as he is passive. i also think people put entirely too much stock into him when he started off well last season. he's not the most athletic guy in the world which is obvious to anyone who watches him and it seems like a lot of people were ready to make him the next kareem way too fast

Agreed! Mavs are the softest!! As last game demonstarted, the Mavs had 3 possesions to put that game away and all 3 possesions were jumpers. That team takes nothing to the rim, except Howard every now and then. It is not hard to beat a team that shoots jumpers 75% of the time.

Lakers are definitely a bit soft! Kobe no way at all, but Gasol and Odom are. Bynum is still young and learning, so I am not ready to call him soft. Sasha I do not need to even mention. Lakers problem is they have a few guys that do dissappear at times. When those players are active the Lakers are unstoppable, but Odom, Gasol, and Fisher can definitely lay eggs at times and are no where to be found!!
