lebron came in and set a franchise record for 24 in the 4th yesterday.

kobe came in as the game was winding down and a substantial lead was cut to 6 and the game blows open with under 6 to play.

looking at the surrounding help, i think i have to lean to king james....

we're just talking about last night? nah, make mine the guy thats 1st team all NBA defense in Kobe, the guy who can lock up the other teams best scorer when your team absolutely needs a stop. Make mine the guy who scored 50+ in 5 straight games, who averages almost 30 a game when Bruce Bowen guards him. His shot is so pure compared to LeBron its not even funny, and theres never been a question about Kobe's skills in clutch situations, as he never seems to have a problem knocking down can't miss free throws. Ill take Kobe

Well look at the franchise records Kobe owns and the players that have played for that franchise in the past, then look at James getting a franchise record for the Cavs scoring 24 in the 4th, and the players that have played for that franchise in the past, doesnt even come close imo

no doubt kobe's skills are stout, extraordinary. do you think lebron would bring at least as much pain if he were on a team like the lakers?

Lakers arent much stronger than the Cavs. PGs Derek Fisher vs Larry Hughes (Cavs win that 1 imo) Centers Ilgauskas vs Bynum (its close, but Bynum still has too many holes in his game but a much brighter future) PFs Lamar Odom vs Drew Gooden, Odom only averaging 1.5 PPG more than Gooden, both averaging 9 boards. Luke Walton/Pavlovic 2 different positions, both averaging about 7 1/2 PPG. Pretty close to a dead heat imo.

that said, is kobe as much a keystone if he isn't playing as we saw that lebron was when he was out with the finger a month ago?

Answer to the topic is Kobe. But LeBron is better for 48 minutes.
