Reporter is right and did not get owned. It is one thing to be a stud defensively, but you are no superstar being good on one end of the floor. Superstars need to step up on both ends. Not that Lebron has played poorly, but he has shied away from being much of a factor in the 4th quarters. Now the Heat won last night, but what if they had lost?? That was a close game that Lebron left to others to decide on the offensive side. I think its a fair criticism. If you are the best player in the NBA then you step up on the biggest stage, or at least try to. Winning the game overshadows alot, if they had lost by Dirk hitting a 3 at the end or Bosh had missed that jumper I think opinions would be different by many.

And just to follow up how winning games overshadows poor performances or avoiding the limelight, see Jet in the OKC series.
We never heard a word about Jet in the OKC series, yet the guy had 1 good game. He was horrible in that series, but because they were winning all was forgiven or blindly looked over.

Coming into this season, Lebrons 2 biggest weaknesses IMO were his outside jumper and his MIND! His jumper has improved greatly and is actually a strength now. His mind is what keeps him from being even better. It is why he went to Miami, so he didnt have to be the main guy. He didnt want the pressure of having to perform every night in order to win so he teamed up with the 3rd best player in the NBA and brought along the 2nd best FA at that time to be their big man.

I dont know what Lebron has to do to get people off his nuts. The dude is averaging more assists than a pg (and pretty much runs the point since Bibby/Chalmers cant), he can guard practically any player in the NBA, he can rebound, and he can score. What else does he have to do? The dude has 3 MEDIOCRE games and suddenly we all attack him? Do you really think Lebron cares what you have to say about him? lol he's up 2-1 in the finals, talk all the s%*& you want to about him teaming up with superstars, cuz one year later he's proving you all wrong already. To anyone who didn't watch Lebron in the chicago/boston series please do not respond because you sound retarded. This series should really be 3-0, the mavs will not win another gm they got lucky once.
&be470 or whatever the hell your name is, gtfoh. All you do is post stuff on other peoples threads talkin s%*&. do you even gamble on sports or post your plays? or do you just like attackin other people to make yourself feel like a "man". last time I checked it isn't cool to be an internet bully lol and chances are if you were face to face with me you would look at the ground and not dare to open your mouth. I've helped develop a system this year that has hit 60%+ and has helped ppl on CM win $$$.. What have you done on this site besides cause drama and try to pick fights with other ppl? lol you are truly an idiot, and please do not read any of my threads or post on them (for the 4th time). lol jesus christ man get off my nuts. Not everyone hates there lives and has the same views that you do on sports, sorry I guess I just forgot that Be470 knows all. So far from the impression I got this fool is 10x worse than Lebron lol Last edited by FadeThePublic; 06-06-2011 at 11:58 AM. |

Ya your right, 5.6 assist per game is more than PGs and is absolutely spectacular. Get off his nuts! 9th best among players in the playoffs this season. With that average it would be 22nd in the league this season, far from a spectacular stat that you are claiming.

Hopefully the best player in the league and the so called best thing next to Jordon, lets all his teammates take the shots again in the 4th when the game is on the line! Last night in the 4th it is not even like he pentrated and dished. he sat at the top of the key the entire time and did empty passes except for the one to Bosh, which was a called play anyways.

Lebron is great, he is the best player and has the most ability in the NBA, but when it is on the line he has a tendancy to shy away. He did in Cleveland in the playoffs as he passed on the final shot a number of times and he is doing it now in the finals. The tools he is a 10, the mind he is a 6 or a 7.

If Bosh had missed that final shot and the Mavs win by 2, would you have been OK with Bosh taking that final shot?? Are you OK with your superstar allowing other teammates to make the final shot, or final 10 shots of the game?
