Who really knows. He already owns a mansion there so his kid going to school there doesn’t necessarily mean anything I guess. If it’s true

I cannot comprehend why he would go west?? LA?

The path of least resistance is the East. Staying with Cavs or Boston, Philly make more sense. San Antonio will be better, Houston, Warriors, He wont get out of the second round in the west.

His naysayers seem to think being ousted in the 1st/2nd round is better on his resume than losing in the finals, why not? His best opportunities to dethrone the Warriors NOW are all out West. The Lakers acquiring LBJ, PG, and CP3 is a strong possibility.. Gary Payton confirmed that his son was just enrolled at Sierra Canyon High School near Los Angeles which is why they have shot up to even odds. Celts definitely the best viable choice to end his career with but his family will ultimately influence where he ends up.

Starting to make more sense. Breaking news on ESPN that Leonard wants out of S.A. and he wants to go to the Lakers. Will the Spurs help him do that?

It's starting to look like Leonard will force a trade to the Lakers, if that happens LeBron and Paul George won't be far behind. I know the Celtics have interest in Leonard and of course the Spurs would rather send him to the East, but with only one year remaining on his contract I don't think Danny Ainge would give up a lot to get him, it's not worth the risk imo to give up some of their young talent for a one year rental of Leonard, unless he agrees to stay in Boston long term, but he's a SoCal guy and wants to play in LA so any East team trading for him is taking a big gamble. If LeBron ends up in LA, as a Celtic fan I would be a little torn, on the one hand it's great to get him out of the conference making the C's path to the finals much easier, but knowing he would be playing for those cocksuckers in LA would bother me too, it's been great the past several years watching the Lakers struggle while the Celtics have been forming a solid team, but that all changes if LeBron goes there, I was hoping he would end up in Houston, but that's not looking likely, we'll have to see how it all plays out

Like I said. You're an instant contender. Maybe Kuzma and the #1 although as a Laker fan of love to see Ball gone.

I dont know if POP will trade Leonard in the west. The alkers could get all 3 Lebron, George and Leonard if they want.

I think SA will make the best deal they can, just like when Cleveland traded Kyrie Irving to Boston because the Celtics offered them the best deal. Remember, Leonard is a free agent after next season, so even if they trade him to the East, if he doesn't resign with that team he could go to the Lakers the following season anyway.

Boston could easily do Irving and Rozier for Leonard.....no need to give up draft picks in that scenario

if Irving stays, then do Rozier and 2 or 3 future first rounders

Boston has many ways to make the deal happen. I would think the primary player would be Jaylen Brown though. Tatum should be untouchable.

Oh I agree. The assumption is he would be happy and agree in advance to an extension otherwise I don't do anything.

That is that problem SA has and why I would trade to the partner with the best offer even of its in the West. Maybe Lakers need to overpay but unless he agrees to an extension i don't know why Boston would be a partner.

James has informed the Cavs he won’t opt into his contract. This decision is favorable to the Lakers chances, hurts the Rockets chances and the Cavs remain firmly in mix.

LeBron's first year max salary for 2018-19 is now $35.4M based on the projected $101M cap (would have been $35.6M if he opted in).

Cleveland can still offer him a 5-year, $205M deal ($41M per year) while other teams can offer 4 years, $152M ($38M per year)

The Lakers now have the second-best odds to win the 2018-19 title at +350 at Westgate.

They opened 20-1 and were +650 yesterday before odds were taken down.

The Decision 3.0 may be coming to an end sooner than later.

LeBron James, who is set to meet with the Sixers brass in Los Angeles Sunday, and also spoke with Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman just after the free agent market opened, may have already made up his mind.

A recent report from Nick Wright of Fox Sports 1 states that James has already come to a decision, and heíll announce it on Tuesday morning.

This could be good news for the Sixers, and quite the opposite for the Lakers. Los Angeles have been very quiet in free agency so far, failing to land any of the big-name free agents ó with Paul George, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan signing deals with other teams.

Cleveland may still be in the mix as well, with James having spoken with Altman. Itís interesting that James could wait until Tuesday to announce his decision, though, being that many of the more talked-about free agents will be off the board by that time.

$163.00 per second when broken down to game time. He makes more money than he has time to count it.
