Lmao

To win NBA title

LAL +225

Bos +275

LOL LAL so soft not funny, wont touch Boston this year.

Already have cash on Boston to win it, adding another 2 bills.

Any bargain hunters out there throw some money on almost 3-1 on Boston.

Less than 30 games into the season and you're saying they won't touch Boston lol. Give it time...Pjax teams always escalate near playoff time.

Well they just demolished the 2nd best team in the West on the road on the 2nd night of a back to back.

Too early to say anything...they aren't even close to their potential yet and are 22-6.

Looks like a 2 team race right now, Lakers just not on the same level as the Cavs and Celts.

while i agree that it looks laughable, remember that it has nothing to do with how you are playing in december or january. It is impossible to tell who is going to win by how they are playing right now imo.

Lakers could easily be peaking during the playoffs, just as easily as they could be slumping as they are now.

Right now doesn't mean much in terms of who will prevail in the playoffs. Looking at the big picture I think the Lakers are deserved NBA title favourites. +200 quotes don't get me excited in this sort of market though, amoungst other reasons, any one of the four favoured teams are an injury or two of coming right back to the field.

Just more on the betting side of futures. Taking a big outsider that you think will improve as the season goes on I can understand, but I don't see the point of betting on any 3 of the NBA top 3 title favourites right now.

By waiting till the playoffs are about to start or in progress you get a better gauge. Often you find the prices don't change much, sometimes you can even get a better price.
Classic example for me was on the Super 14 rugby last season. All season the NSW Waratahs were around the 7-1 mark at one point they got out to 19-1. Then when their place was confirmed in the finals (only four teams make it out of 14!) the prices on offer were better than the average price of around 9-1 during the regular season.

Look at the Bears this season in the NFL, they have been around the 20-1 mark probaly average price through the regular season to win the NFC. You watch if they make the playoffs there will still be a nice price on offer I would say one would be able to still get 14-1 or so. Often its better to wait than do your cash in early.

As of now, agreed. Lakers are not on the same level. But to say that it will stay that way is highly unlikely.

Everything in life has peaks and lows. Every NBA team knows when to peak and its certainly not in December!

Well that wa smy points J, that the line is off. Its not like the Celtics of last year where none were proven when it matters most except theri 6th man Posey. But if you watch em as I do night in and out, its scary that they areplaying better than last year, ALOT less closer wins and now blowing teams out. My point was the odds to win it all having LA higher. Doesnt make sense. Which is why I jumped on it some more....
