Coach Avery Johnson flatly denied that the Mavericks are eager to trade for Jason Kidd.

Mavs G Devin Harris (14 ppg; ankle) is listed as not expected to play on Thursday night.

Mavs G Jerry Stackhouse has already been ruled out for Thursday's game at Boston with a hamstring injury.

Celtics F Kevin Garnett (19 ppg; abdominal) will NOT play tonight.

Celtics G Ray Allen (18 ppg; flu) WILL play tonight and is expected to start.
