Maybe the last System Play of the year

Things are winding down and even though Phoenix has been hitting the boards better of late, I still like this play (although I'm playing it slightly smaller than usual since the season is winding down)

Houston +3 over Phoenix

GOOD LUCK!

Crap action, I don't want to go against your system plays. It's too late now, I got PHX at +0.5... oh well, hope my UNDER's hit!

I have a mathematical system I came up with about 20 years ago that I've explained on here in the past..... bottom line - take the top rebounding teams in the league against the worst rebounding teams in the league. The theory being that rebounding is predictable and consistent - and usually reflects effort and defense. Shooting, passing, playmaking - all of those things fluctuate from one game to the next so they are hard to predict. If I have a solid rebounding team against a weak one, I can almost guarantee they'll kill 'em on the boards - which means MANY more shot opportunities - particularly down the stretch. And as you probably know, most NBA games are relatively close to the spread down the stretch. If that's the case, I'd like to have my money on the team that crashes the boards and gets stops.

Nice call ASC. I was just wondering what defines the best rebounding team for you...is it head to head rebounding margin or total rebounds?
