i don't even know why it would be necessary to make this thread... obviously the Bulls have no cap room to get Melo, and wouldn't be a candidate to pull off the trade for him...

but it makes me wonder... did your mom cheat on your dad with Rodman or something? don't think i've ever seen anyone have such a blind irrational hate for a team... especially a team that hasn't been close to a title in more than a decade...

fascinating!

CBS Sportsline was reporting yesterday that the Knicks seem to have the inside track for Melo.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

If Melo would leave the Nuggets because he wants to win why would he go to the Knicks?

To play in the Easy, I mean East....
To play with a roster that is getting better, not worse.....
To join a great big in Amare, and in a year a great PG in Paul and build a dynasty miles from where he went to college in the mecca of sports.....

Just a couple reasons....

The Nuggets have been "quietly gauging trade interest" in Carmelo Anthony for weeks and are now "considering a strategy" to part ways with their star scorer, a league source tells the Denver Post.

The Nuggets don't want to lose their superstar for nothing like the Cavs and Raptors did with their respective franchise players this summer. Now that Anthony has reportedly made it very clear that he's going to walk after this season, the wheels are in motion.

Look for the Nuggets to try to pull off a sign-and-trade, and the Knicks will likely be among the first teams to come calling. Aug. 17 - 10:05 am et

If the Knicks can get him
it would be a no brainer I suppose but not sure there roster has gotten that much better. I guess it depends if you see Amare as a big upgrade over David Lee

Who do the Knicks have that would even interest Denver? For a crappy team they were last year, I dont think they have anyone that Denver would get back to help them. I am sure he wont get traded, as they have a decent team with him. However, if things fall off the rails, maybe at the deadline they will get some real good offers.

interesting that you made a thread stating he will not go to Chicago, but when asked why he would go to New York, you gave a bunch of descriptions that would just as easily apply to Chicago as they would NY... except he wouldn't have to wait a year and hope to get a great PG in Chicago, since they already have one...

hate much?

better to let shepherd down now than to watch him get all excited then crash and burn like he did during the free agency boom

you gotta kidding...

i haven't been around here long, but i can't imagine too many people put any stock in what you have to say... i don't think i've seen you make a single prediction, and yet you harp on the fact that i was wrong about where Lebron would end up...

and actually, somewhere around here is a thread where i said the only two teams that had a shot at him were Chicago and Miami, which i'm sure is more than you said... clearly Chicago would have been the better choice, because fans would still respect him, he would be on a better team, and he would be the Man on that team... instead he's just a tool who joined up with a couple other superstars...

if all you have to offer this site is rehashing an essentially meaningless incorrect prediction, then you don't have much...
