Miami Heat/Phoenix Suns Trade Rumor

Just getting into all the media now. Very serious talk of Shaq to the Suns for Shawn Marion and PG Marcus Banks. This was reported earlier in a thread by the brother-in-law of a woman who has been "banging" Shaq for 3 years a little earlier, but this is from ESPN, figured it was a little more credible.

I think the brother and law is more creditable source

Don't think it is a good move for the suns with the style of basketball they play. Will not be able to run and gun.

Thoughts? If this is true.

Harry: I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.

Lloyd: I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of shit, man.

I think that they have had several goes of it w/ Marion already on the team and can't seem to get themselves to the NBA finals and are probably thinking Shaq is what they would be missing. Shaq's shots per game would definitely go up with Nash as his PG and all the double teams he and Stoudamire would bring in the block would create open looks for everyone else outside, and this is a team that could shoot without a doubt. I don't know if it takes them to the next level, but I'm not sure if they can do it with the team they have now either.

I think it is now official, Marion has been rumored to be traded for every other player in the league at one point, lol. Bad, horrible move for the Suns if this one actually takes place

This would be a bad deal for PHX, giving up Marion for Shaq is just a bad trade. Now if MIA wants to offer Wade for Marion that would be something that PHX can take a look at.

Shaq is not that great of a player, I never really liked him. All he can do is back his giant body up turn around and put the ball in the net with his huge tree arm. Now given he does get alot of those in the net, I cant take that away from him. But if he worked on his game more I could have some more respect for him. Shaq seems to be in this game for a paycheck only, If he put in effort & practice time like a Yao Ming I may feel diffrent about him.

I think it is a great deal for Phoenix...you got two unhappy players in both cities and Shaq is a defensive force which is what Phoenix needs to get over the hump against the Spurs imo

shaq is about to break his back and no way he could keep up with suns style offense, i would not trade marion for shaq straight up, let alone with another player...
