Monday night pick

I'm new to cappers mall and thought I would post my picks for today.

My preseason record is 3-0 so far, and here's my pick for tonight:

I like the Houston Rockets to win by 5.5, and here's why:
Houston is 2-1 preseason, beating the Grizzles in a close game, and the Spurs with both teams missing stars. They lost a very close game to the Celtics, which they probably should have won, and Ron Artest is playing well with his new team, getting to the line 10 times in only 24 minutes of play, and making 9 of them, against the Celtics.
The Thunder have been struggling and are 3-0, losing to the Timberwolves by 6, kings by 9 and the Warriors by 20. They haven't won a first quarter yet, and they'll start in a whole against the rockets as well. Damien Wilkins has been playing well for the Thunder, but he hasn't been guarded by any really strong defenders, or defensive teams, and the Rockets will slow him down.
Although both teams starters will have minimal minutes the Rockets will build a lead big enough for the Rockets bench to maintain for the win. It wont matter that it's the Thunders first home game. The Thunder will continue to lose, and the Rockets will get their first preseason road game win.

The Rockets will win by 5.5


Another game I was looking at was Indiana +3. It's not an official pick, but I like it as well.
