Monday Referee Assignments
Sorry. Missed the first game, and running late with these. Had to go deal with a dead truck battery.
7:40 ET starts Washington at Boston: (Bos -11 and 187) Greg Willard was 40-33 o/u last season, including 18-9 o/u with posted totals lower than 195 points. Boston is 6-2 o/u in their last 8 games with Willard. Ref Zach Zarba also leaned to the Over last season, and Boston is 9-1 o/u in their last 10 games with him. Mixed team-specific trends on the side with this crew. Willard has seen Boston go 8-2 ATS in their last 10 with him, but Boston is on an 0-6 ATS run with Eli Roe. Indiana at New Jersey: (Ind -5.5 and 181.5) Some weak trends and some conflicting trends with this crew. Toronto at New York: (NYK -8 and 200.5) Scott Foster generally favors the underdogs, but road dogs of 5 to 10 points are only 17-13 ATS with him through the start of last season. He is roughly neutral with the sides and totals with these two teams, as is the rest of the crew. Atlanta at Miami: (Mia -9 and 194) Scott Wall is 1-2 o/u this year, and he was 21-38 o/u last season, including 5-20 o/u in games with totals lower than 195 points. Atlanta is 1-7 o/u in their last 8 games with Wall, and Miami is 4-5 o/u in their last 9 with him. Ref Joe Crawford leaned slightly to the Over last season, but Atlanta is 2-8 o/u in their last 10 with him. Road dogs were 31-14 ATS with Wall last season, but there are no noteworthy team ATS trends with this crew. Orlando at Detroit: (Orl -4.5 and 183.5) Road team ref Tony Brothers is working here. A couple of letdowns with road faves so far with Brothers this season, including Dallas last night. Orlando is 4-1 SU & ATS in their last 5 with Brothers and they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games with him. Detroit is 2-6 SU & ATS in their last 8 games with Brothers, including 1-6 ATS at home, but note that Brothers does not work games in Detroit very often. The whole crew has a lean to the Over with these two teams, with David Jones being the strongest. Orlando is 7-3 o/u in their last 10 with Jones, and Detroit is 5-1 o/u in their last 6 with him. Later games coming up next...

San Antonio at Minnesota: (San -5 and 196.5) Dick Bavetta is generally a great ref for the under, but not when the totals get higher. He was 9-9 o/u last season with totals between 195 and 205. The Spurs are 5-1 o/u in their last 6 with Bavetta, and Minny is 6-2 o/u in their last 8 with him. Michael Smith leaned to the Under with totals in this range, with a 9-14 o/u record, but he leans over with Minny, as they've gone 4-2 o/u in their last 6 with him.
Oklahoma City at Dallas: (OKC -2.5 and 196) Road teams were 40-27 ATS with crew chief Derrick Collins last season, including 5-1 ATS as favorites of fewer than 5 points. OKC is 8-1 SU & 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games with Collins, and Dallas is just 5-4 SU & 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 with him. OKC is 6-4 ATS in their last 10 with James Capers, while Dallas is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games with him. Last two coming up...

Milwaukee at Denver: (Den -4.5 and 197) Neutral or weak general trends with these refs. Only Olandis Poole has strong team-specific trends. Milwaukee is 4-3 SU & 7-0 ATS in their last 7 with Poole. Denver is 3-3 SU & 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games with Poole.
New Orleans at Utah: (Utah -6.5 and 179.5) Strong, conflicting trends here. Pat Fraher was 43-29 o/u last season, including 5-1 o/u with totals below 185 points, and Utah is 6-1-1 o/u in their last 8 games with him. However, ref Haywoode Workman was a strong 0-8 o/u in games with totals below 185 points last year, and New Orleans is 3-7 o/u in their last 10 with him, although that includes 3-1 o/u in their most-recent 4 with him.
