Mr. NASCAR's NBA play

Too much bad mojo in the other thread, let's cast that aside and try this again.

Recap: I don't want to talk about it; see my bad beat thread.

Records:
tm/gm/side 64-60; tm 21-21, gm 20-21 side 23-19
Ov/Un 13-23; Ov 9-21, Un 4-2
Q4 meltdown 5-4
Me 44-58

Three spots today, all in Ov/Un spot:
Ind/Chi Ov 194
Wash/Mem Ov 197
Char/LAC Un 194

At 9-21, I'm fading the two Overs and buying them Under; wait to buy, both will go up. I'm buying the Under in Char/LAC (4-2, should be 6-0; I can't get screwed in OT in three straight games, can I? Plus, those fawkers from Char. cost me the Under last night as much as GS did; they owe me.)

Good luck to me today with the Under . . .

Doza, I made a bad call on Indy, I faded it and bought Under because they were in a 9-21 spot. Thought I was going to pull it out in q4 but Indy, who used to play some defense, gave up 30+; too many FT's. But the main play, the Under in LAC won (I'm buying a little extra $ on Unders than Overs cuz of the records.) That play is 5-2 now with both losses coming in OT. Watch for it, it's pretty solid.

Recap - bad call, faded both Overs cuz of 9-21 record, both won. That was my strongest play last season at 31-16, but horrible start this season had me looking to fade, should stick with it and wait for it to turn around.

Records:
tm/gm/side 64-60; tm 21-21, gm 20-21 side 23-19
Ov/Un 16-23; Ov 11-21, Un 5-2
Q4 meltdown 5-4
Me 45-60
Got one today, karma, fade it yesterday, it wins, play it today and you know what's gonna happen. I'm on it anyway.
Bos/LA Ov 183
Bos seems to have low scoring Sunday afternoon games, LA high scoring.
Game goes to who dominates; if you like Bos, look Under too.
Will buy it Over, waiting though, line keeps dropping.
Good luck with your play today.

Thanks guys, got the Over in LAL, systems starting to get back to normal.

Earl, read your post, was thinking, "Hey, I flipped past Sci-Fi last night, they didn't have a Monty Python marathon on."

Recap: Banged the Over in Bos/LA for an easy win.

Records:
tm/gm/side 64-60; tm 21-21, gm 20-21 side 23-19
Ov/Un 17-23; Ov 12-21, Un 5-2
Q4 meltdown 5-4
Me 46-60

One spot active today, from tm/gm/side:
Utah Un 96'
Char/Utah Un 190
Char +3

Tough call on this one.

When the side you play on is a dog in this spot, the record is 10-4 (with the last loss being NJ+6 and they blew it in OT; handicap was correct for +6 pts at end of reg; unofficially 11-3, but charted as a loss.)

Also, this play is a combined 20-1 on Monday (team+game+side records.) Only loss was on 12/27 when the side play was on Houston -9 and they won by 7 for a close loss. No logic for that 20-1 though, and the scales due to balance out?

Of concern - look at some basic avg's:
PF + PA by each team (avg score per game)
then Char PF + Utah PA, and Utah PF + Char PA.
Every combination is higher than tonight's total.
Still, if my season is going to turn around I have to stick with what has worked in past years.
I will buy all three spots but waiting - total should go higher.
Good luck with your play today.

Recap: An OK night at 2-1, I'll take it. Team total won, game total won, side lost, getting 3 lost by 5, had a chance on lost possession when they missed a 3, got the rebound and missed followup too. That play is now 22-2 on Mondays. Dog in that spot now 10-5.

Records:
tm/gm/side 66-61; tm 22-21, gm 22-21 side 23-20
Ov/Un 17-23; Ov 12-21, Un 5-2
Q4 meltdown 5-4
Me 45-60

One spot today, Ov/Un profile, and it's trouble.
Wash/NO Ov 190.

First, behind schedule, late 'capping and got a bad #, 189 was all over this morning. Second, 12-21 record on this spot, NO is 1-7 in it, one third of all losses. Wash is 1-5, so, combined they are 2-11, more than 50% of the losses (one L was when they played each other.) And ref assignment sux for an Over. The play has hit 4 straight, 3 of them Overs, more in line with last year's performance. Which is the correct saying, "penny wise, pound foolish" or "in for a nickel, in for a pound." Got a feelin' I should fade and buy the Under, but I'll buy it as listed.
Good luck with your play today.

I think you should stick with the over, too. The Hornets defense took a pretty good hit with Okafor now out for several games. Unless Jbenga or one of these other big men can step it up, they're going to give up a lot more points in the paint. Just my opinion.

Good luck!

"Just my opinion"
And I thank you for it.

A couple of hooks out there on it now, 190', I bought the Over when I posted earlier and got the 190.
Hope we're right, I need a big February.
Luck to you tonight . . .

"Hey Playas!! Now you too can have a winning record, the fast, easy way, with The Justin Beiber Method!"
WTF.
I got little going on today, look here to see if anyone has something they feel strong about, some value. I see a number, I figure, 'Hey, looks good, let's look into it.' It took just two minutes, two posts, to spot one invisible win, one loser left behind. Two for two there makes ya wonder what the real math is.
Next.

Doza,
I knew someone would "get it." Thanks.
Was gonna say something, but just not into drama,
and I'm sure Jack's gotta enough headaches,
and I figured sheep get what they deserve.
Worst thing that could happen for the mutton is a couple of winners get posted, then it'll become another in the never ending series of "Welcome the New Messiah!" moments, until the scales balance, or the truth comes out or the vanishing act/come-to-Jesus-at-my-pay-site shite happens. I post a warning for any of my friends that stop by here, but that's all I feel obligated to do. Caveat Emptor.

Recap:
NO screws me again. I'll bet they are responsible for anywhere from 30-50%
of the losses in my record (games I buy and recommend) which I guess makes me the rat who can't figure out which lever drops the food pellet and which gets the electric shock. Ouch!

Last night, I lost by 4 after NO put up a 12 point 4th quarter (yes, scoreboard shows 17, but 5 came from FT's with under a minute to go.)
This, after Q's of 29, 26 and 25. They had the lead, then quit. Fawkers.
They didn't score a FG in the final 3 minutes of the game.
PIT-I-FUL.....

No plays fit in NBA today, I'm off to try and beat the NCAA Kidz.

No plays last night.

Records:
tm/gm/side 66-61; tm 22-21, gm 22-21 side 23-20
Ov/Un 17-24; Ov 12-22, Un 5-2
Q4 meltdown 5-4
Me 45-61

One spot active tonight:
Mil Un 97'
Mil/GS Un 201'
GS -7

GS screws me too many times/ways this season.
Posted for info/charting only, I'm not buying any of the three plays (if anyone is, wait on it, all three #'s should improve later today.)

Good luck with your play tonight.
