mv's D League picks

warning: I am a rookie actually worse D League(just look at my ncaa picks), working on a small bankroll just trying to see how well I do.

starting out with a mythical 500 bankroll and I'll see how well I do until the NBA Finals. Cheers

March 7
Bankroll: 500.00

Pacers at Clippers - 33.00 Clippers +4.5
Eric Gordon in. Pacers 8-2 ATS the last 10, but Clips on a Saturday night don't want to embarrass their 10 fans in the crowd and maybe Gordon changes the flow of this horrible team

hit my first pick, but glad I didn't have the guts to take moneyline on the Clips at the Pacers cameback to win by 1. anyways 1 pick for today

March 8
Previous won/loss: 30.00
Bankroll: 530.00

Knicks at Nets - 33.00 Knicks +4.5
This is where I get in trouble as my entire basis for this pick (other than the fact that its a game on neutral territory) is the fact that the Nets are on a 6 game ATS winning streak, where 3 of those are SU losses (Although I think their next game against the Warriors is a better play.

knicks ran into a hot team last night and hopefully Devin Harris and VC are hungover from saturday night (source twitter)

on logan I actually got the above bet at 5 (which taught me the lesson of shopping for spreads), which pushed this game, but still win or lose that was a bad bet. Larry Hughes some random turnover at the end. WTF? I smell point shave. Thankfully David Lee got a useless bucket at the buzzers

March 9
Record: 1-1
Bankroll: 497.00

Bulls at Heat: 33.00 Bulls +5.5
This is one of the nights that the Heat take off. Two losses to Cleveland and Wade getting kicked out last game will hopefully make them sleep on this one

Heat Bulls game gave me a heart attack and I only bet 33. But still I would make that bet again as the Heat kind of fell asleep early on

Mar 10
ATS Record: 2-1
Bankroll: 527.00

Jazz at Pacers - Pacers 22.00 +3.5
Jazz at Pacers - Pacers 10.00 ML 2.45
The Pacers stink and the Jazz are hot so the two bets above make no sense. But maybe Jazz overlooking this with Atlanta, Miami and Orlando coming up

hahah how did i not get banned from this site for making that pacers bet, sloppy i thought Granger would return, oh well

Mar 11
Bankroll: 495.00
Nets at Warriors - 44.00 Warriors -2.5
Bay Area warriors back from road trip, Nets on an ATS streak but had some close losses. Like the home team here, but worried about the spread going down to 2.5

cool thanks skins, that was a close one that I probably shouldve avoided despite the win. Anyways haven't liked anything the past two days, but if I can get a lower spread in the 2nd Half in the Raps Pistons game I'll take it, they look like different team already.

Also I don't know how many people have jason richardson on their Twitter, but he is pissed about that 360 block dunk by lebron, I'm looking for him to have a huge game against Oklahoma City tomorrow

current bankroll: 539.00
ATS Record: 3-2
Moneyline: 0-1

Pistons at Raptors - 2nd Half 33.00 Raptors +1
Raps look like a different team, I know that they have trouble finishing and betting on my own team could be the end of me, but man Chris Bosh is pumped after doing that Weather Report on CTV, and his mood on his twitter has changed from bored to excited

haha what a horrible Raptor pick, game went to OT but they just can't finish, maybe thats why my girlfriend left me,

Mar 14
Previous Won/Loss: -33.00
Current Bankroll: 506.00

Hornets at Bulls - 33.00 Hornets -2
Rose vs Paul, I'm going with the vet. Chicago played good coming off a back to back on the road last time against Houston. But they were mad at a loss to Washington in front of Obama (he was in the crowd). Hornets are on fire, that streak will end but more likely against Houston than here

thanks white tiger, uhhh my karma from my college ball picks not transferring to NBA. 79 points hornets? Seriously?

I really wanted the Raps this morning but once again stoopid sunday brunch got in the way of me and a computer. But then again I would have gone 1-1 on my college picks had I been able to make bets

Mar 15
previous won/loss -33.00
Current Bankroll: 473.00

Suns at Warriors - 33.00 Suns +1.5
All logic points to the Warriors. Home Team, Suns coming off a game last night. But Three reasons why this will hit or continue my NBA slump:

1. Nash is in the Bay Area which is similar to BC minus Oakland. He will get a good cup ofcoffee. And after being stopped by one those kids asking for money for some charity, he will give a 20 dollar bill and feel good about himself

2. On Twitter Shaq was all pumped about meeting with one of the founders. Also his activity replying to fans is high this morning, which means he's happy or bored

3. Robin Lopez playing is front of Stanford peeps. He wants to show off to Michelle Wie's friends

ok I needed this NBA win or else I would quit and just focus on tennis and college ball and I owe all on twitter karma (rather than handicapping insight), but point #3 is incorrect Mr. Wie only played 5 minutes.

Shaq was just too happy this morning for them to lose though.

I also totally missed out on Jason Richardson's Twitter message about how pissed he is about that dirty lebron block

http://twitter.com/jrich23

Jrich did good today, but that lebron block was dirty though still

thanks skins, although I wouldn't recommend going with my picks, NBA is not my forte as you will see with the reasoning behind my next homer pick

March 16
Previous Won/Loss: 30.00
Bankroll: 503.00
Raptors at Bobcats - 44.00 Raptors +7

I am not basing this bet on the Bobcats slide or the Raps momentum from Marion's sick dunk on sunday. But once again on Twitter

Chris Bosh has no activity on Twitter since the 12th. Even on that Detroit loss they played alright. This means he is not bored. He was all over Twitter talking about every little thing he did during their skid.

I'm sad that I don't know what Bosh is eating today or what movie he plans on renting, but I'm jacked if he can hit this

Also SFU's Jay Triano is pumped that UBC loss yesterday

Reasons why this bet will lose

1. Larry Brown vs Jay Triano
2. The Raps are the raps
3. Nathan from One Tree Hill might get called up from the D League to play for his hometown bobcats
