there are three reasons I can make the plays that I do. 1) mainly, not married, no kids, and my home is paid for. I do have a wonderful girlfriend. 2) I built my bankroll over the last 4 years playing poker and betting sports, and don't need to draw from it for bills. I also make book on the side, on a fairly small scale, but enough comes in that it does add to my bankroll. 3) I am profitable long-term at sportsbetting. My posted record, since joining CM in March, shows profitability of a couple dimes. I am pretty selective, and would be more profitable if I could stay away from playing so many games, but sportsbetting is still betting and brings some excitement. also... i use roughly a 20x bankroll requirement. Meaning my largest bet should be no more than 5% of my total bankroll. I stray from that sometimes. But I placed a large NBA wager on saturday (posted) that was slightly over 5% rule. It helps keep me disciplined.
