Nba betting: Dallas looking dominant as playoffs continue

Nick Shiambouros rounds up the latest playoff action from the NBA where the veteran Mavericks have recently swept the Lakers and could be on course for championship glory

Eastern Conference

Atlanta Hawks v Chicago Bulls - Chicago Leads Series 3-2
The Bulls won Game 5 95-83 in a hard-fought affair on Tuesday night.

Derrick Rose scored an incredible 33 points for Chicago and was the best player on the floor once again. British star Luol Deng added 23 valuable points and was rock solid on both ends of the floor.

The Hawks had their chances in this game but came up a little short in the final quarter.

This series is far from over but Chicago hold all the Aces heading in to Game 6 on Thursday. A victory would put them in to the Conference Finals for the first time since 1998.

The Bulls are trading at [1.73] to win Game 6 which is more than fair in my opinion. They have more scoring options than Atlanta which could be the deciding factor in this crucial game.

Boston Celtics v Miami Heat Miami Leads Series 3-1
The Celtics lost Game 4 98-90 in overtime on Monday evening.

Miami's Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh combined for an astonishing 83 points in a thrilling contest at the TD Garden.

This game could have gone either way but it was the Heat who had the fresher legs in overtime.

Boston are really up against it now as the action moves back to Miami for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Miami has taken control of the series and must have an excellent chance of progressing to the Conference Finals. The Heat are trading at [1.85] with the advertised handicap (-6.5) and should be backed accordingly.

The Celtics have fought extremely hard in this series but their season appears to be over.

Western Conference

Dallas Mavericks v Los Angeles Lakers Dallas Wins Series 4-0

The Lakers were swept by the Mavericks after losing Game 4 122-86 on Sunday

This was one of the most humiliating losses I have ever witnessed in the post-season. The Lakers threw in the towel after the first quarter and were soundly trounced by a rampant Dallas rotation.

This was a very sad way to end the season and LA have serious questions to answer after this dreadful effort.

The Mavericks looked razor sharp in this series and will be very difficult to beat in the Conference Finals. This veteran team is firing on all cylinders and have shortened to [3.8] to win the NBA Championship.

Memphis v Oklahoma City Thunder - Series Tied 2-2
The Thunder won an epic Game 4 on Monday 133-123 in triple overtime to square the series.

This was one of the most memorable playoff games in recent history.
