Nba betting: Dallas v. Oklahoma - recommended bets

The Thunder outlasted Memphis to win an epic series but now face an imposing Dallas Mavericks in the Conference Finals. Nick Shiambouros previews the series

The Oklahoma City Thunder overcame the Memphis Grizzlies 4-3 in an epic series to reach the Conference Finals.

This young Oklahoma rotation has shown tremendous resolve in the post-season and will make their presence felt in this series.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are the backbone of this team and are averaging a combined 49 points per game. They have exceptional athleticism and outstanding court vision.

Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins are excellent defenders who also cover the post very well. Ibaka will probably be given the unenviable assignment of covering
Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki who is averaging over 26 points per game.

The Mavericks cruised in to the Conference Finals by virtue of sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers in the most one-sided series I have seen in years.

This veteran team is well rested and ready to go against their younger opponents. Nowitzki and Tyson Chandler have been very effective in the post-season and will have a big say in this series.

Jason Terry will be a huge threat coming off the bench. This underrated guard can score points in bunches and is capable of hurting Oklahoma from behind the three point arc.

This promises to be a close series but I give the definite edge to Dallas. They are the more experienced team and have been in this situation before. The great Nowitzki is coming off his best season in a number of years and is desperate to win his first championship.

The Mavs should get the job done in six games and are worth an interest at [4.6] in the Series Score market.

I expect Dallas to get off to a quick start and they should be backed at around [1.98] with the advertised handicap (-6.5) in Game 1 on Tuesday.
